So I was recently informed that I need to begin studying for my Public Speaking class because I have a mid-term test coming up this next Friday. The first thought that ran through my head was, "What kind of questions could I possibly be asked for a public speaking test?" and another one was "Why aren't we public speaking for our test?" Guess it's just me but that just makes sense. Instead we have a very long multiple choice test. And I can bet that every single one of those questions are going to be broad, far fetched, and bullshit. One of the titles of the chapters is "Democratic Citizenship." That relates... I guess.
On a less gripping note, my parents are visiting me today! I am very excited to see my biological friends but I am not very excited for the events ASU has planned for our little day. I would much rather just go to lunch, talk, go out in the town, etc. Instead we are going to be playing little games like Minute To Win It and watching magic shows. Sigh. But having my parents here will be nice. My little niece was going to come too this weekend! And as I was in the bookstore looking at little baby pink ASU Ram shirts (awwwww) Mom called saying she was no longer coming. It was a very sad moment for me and my little pink shirt.
Anyways, have a good weekend. As Ellen would say, "Be kind to one another."
Happy Saturday.
I am excited they are coming to see you and I am sad I wont be there.
ReplyDeleteI am sure mom and dad will understand if you want to spend time with them seeing other things and not doing all the school stuff.
